@mike789 - No one EVER learns from their past mistakes on this show but the only people that get punished for their inability to learn are the non-descript characters that no one cares about and are introduced for the sole purpose of being killed.

Rick: "I don’t take chances. Not anymore."

I'm trying to figure out why this show has viewers. It's awful.

I don't think this episode was S1: E16, I think it was much earlier in the season. Anyway, I love the dude who played Mako Tanida from watching Banshee.

I'm thinking that they decided NOT to review Season 2 as the reviewer seems to think that the series no longer warrants being reviewed.

Did AV Club stop reviewing The Blacklist after the first season?

As the reviewer so correctly noted about knifing their fallen comrades in the head so they don't suffer while being eaten by walkers:

"This should be standard operating procedure by now."

And sexy too!

Yeah, isolation or no isolation, you would like to think that if they were that fearful of what was out there to build a perimeter wall that they would also have spent some time teaching the people on the inside how to shoot.

Not sure whether it was intentional foreshadowing or not but in retrospect Carl's comment to Gabriel of 'We'll start with the machete" was pretty funny.

As a one-off episode it was interesting to watch but as an installment in a series it just opened more plot holes. Holes that will never be filled.

If you're NOT already a fan of the Thundering Asteroids then you should be!

See kokoke's comment.

Ah, the cliche of the now dead hero leaving behind an offspring. Sired during his one hook up with the woman he was always meant to be with.

Thank you! My understanding of why they were at the wall was to not only to protect the North from the Wildlings but to also protect the North from the mythical white walkers.

The part of the narrative that I struggled the most with, in fact it was part of the last TWO episodes, was the fact that it appears Jon Snow didn't tell ANYONE about what they saw at Hardhome. Or that any of the other returning survivors mentioned it at all.

NYC representing with Rosabell Laurenti Sellers!

Jimmy's breakdown during the bingo game was really painful to watch. Well done actors and director.

They're a ton of fun live.
