The difference with this and the usual protect the stars protector treatment is that Crosby is an instigator of a lot of the stuff he gets. He's done it for years. Go to any game and you'll see all kinds of cheap stick stuff he does behind the play like in that gif above. He's done it ever since he came in. He

Think about this from a business perspective for a minute. Why spend money to develop something to deal with an end of life game only a few people still bother with? People hack around it now anyways if there is enough community. That has always been the way. And no company would build this framework in from the

Hmm - I think I'd more go with left hand didn't know what the right hand was doing. PR fail - but in the end the (like Sony) listened and that what counts.

While I'll give MS bad marks for PR skills (they sort of suck at it) they did quickly listen and reverse course. And any company that listens to its customers is doing something right.

That is pretty standard at this point isn't it?

It is funny how when Sony has a bad idea and listens to the customers and changes it they are applauded and when Microsoft has a bad idea and changes it they are mocked...

The more I see of the game the more I'm concerned about it. I think you're right in that it feels safe. It's a weird MMO light type space with flavors that seem like a mix of Borderlands, Halo, Mass Effect and Fallout. They may pull it off, but it is starting to seem like it is lost in what it wants to be and may

I usually don't go for replaying the old games on nostalgia, but in this case - sign me up!

I think Blu-Ray is dead is a bit premature. First you have the quality issue, Blu-Ray is flat out superior. Then you have connection speeds and looming bandwidth caps on digital access which would drive people to m or e. Throw in that most Blu-rays come with digital as well and I think you see these stick a while.

It is ok not to like the game, but if you are getting dropped by a pilot in four seconds you're doing it wrong. Also if you don't find the titan integral to the game you're also doing it wrong - just saying.

Well that is no fun. I've seen it work in attrition and it usually does swap us for 2 rounds of blow outs in a row or two times getting blown out in a row. Mostly we play variety pack though and there you have to realize we are out matched and back out after a match.

I can't remember another transition that has felt so half-hearted, so conservative, so burdened by a reluctance to place proper, major bets on new technology.

In my house today: two next-generation consoles that haven't been turned on once in the last month. An Xbox 360 that I continue to play: Dark Souls II, South Park: The Stick of Truth.

If I understand their match making fix - it kicks in after the first match - IE don't leave the room, it will rematch your team in cases of blow outs to a team more inline with your skills. You can't totally equate Gen to skill either - we've crushed teams of Gen7-10 and been crushed by teams of gen 1 (we're mostly

My vote for the nerf on pilots is the satchel charge. It needs a delay from throwing to being able to blow them or a slower trigger animation or something. The speed of deployment and blast radius of those are nut.

Over react much? At least try the new version before assuming the 40mm is ruined? I liked it, but it was clearly overpowered by comparison. I am pretty sure it will still be a strong weapon and isn't ruined.

Yeah - never got big stuff. Although I did read the post above as more of the easter bunny being a cover for santa since the parents couldn't find the doll for christmas. Trying to preserve that kid magic and explain why santa didn't get the doll.

I'm in my 40s and I always got little things in the easter basket with the candy. Like maybe a can of play dough and a couple hot wheels cars.

I guess I wouldn't forsake the PS3/360 gen, I just would have like to have seen New systems covered as well.

I think the video sums it up well. 360 = low settings, Xbox One = high visuals. On Xbox One it looks great and is amazing fun to play. On 360 it look equivalent to other 360 games on the high end of that systems graphics and should still be great fun to play. I just don't get how fan boys equate this to bad news.
