I don’t know a great deal about civilian aircraft, but it’s stood out to me for quite awhile that outside of the B52, virtually of its military aircraft are either derivatives of previous designs (the KC46) or were actually designed by other companies that Boeing then bought (F15, F/A18, AH64, B1B, etc)

I agree with you to a point about Trump. He’s not groomed a successor at all. If he goes, the entire party goes. Just look at their primary. People trying his schtick and nothin.

On the one hand, sure.  On the other hand, death by train is perhaps the easiest type of death to avoid already, and I’m not sure how possible it is to prevent a determined suicide.

They are going to keep pushing a future where everything in a game is monetized. The bean counters and executives are making these decisions and the creatives will just have to work around them. I won’t be playing those games however.

Destiny 2 is arguably the best story driven live service game, and it’s the only live service game that I play, and it’s almost PURELY to experience the story. I think unless the game is SOLELY focused on competitive play, or has a very compelling story, it’s going to fail as a live service game. There has to be a

It’s no longer about giving us quality games. It’s about turning console games into app games with in game purchases. Look, I’m not a competitive gamer. I don’t play Fortnite, Apex and COD players to prove I’m the best player. At that point it becomes a sport. I hate sports! I like to go on single player action/adventu

Oh good, so not only did they learn the opposite of what Suicide Squad’s failure should have taught them, they’ve also decided to only milk four franchises from now on.

No but you see, it was overshadowed by Breath of the Wild which released around the same time.  And as well all know, Gamers™ are a monolith that can only buy 1 game at a time and literally noone bought HZD on release because of Zelda.  /s

Zero Dawn was lovely once I returned to it after Breath of the Wild. Forbidden West didn’t hit the same highs for me. The story wasn’t as compelling, the combat was... fine. I hope they can stick the landing with the third.

Don’t think I’ve ever heard anyone ever refer to Horizon as “underrated”

I don’t see how it’s that different from people getting bullied for wearing generic brands of clothes or shoes. Luckily, I just didn’t give a shit as a kid about clothes brands. There’s always going to be “better than thou” peer pressure as a kid (and as an adult TBH), all that’s changed is what thing it’s focused on.

As someone who still has to hear remarks about not sending blue texts to people, I am the farthest from suprised.

I was wondering if there was a moment in your life when you officially realized you were old, sortof like a landmark or delineating line where you could say “ah yes, I don’t get the youth of today anymore”.

It’s very important to boycott Wendy’s, because if this system ends up working, you can be sure it will spread like wildfire through the fast food industry and beyond.

Hm. Where should we go for lunch?
I know! Let’s go to the place that specifically raises their prices at lunch time!

Guess I’m not eating Wendy’s anymore.

It’s dumb. Instead of reading what the big wigs actually said, the masses apparently chose to listen to the hysteria of the influencer crowd, whose entire gig is to react deceptively to news. It’s like no one knows how to read anymore.

You mean random weirdos on the internet were wrong when they said they were done making xboxs? Shocking.

I mean, I think the game didn’t do to well because it looked boring as hell and EA didn’t go that hard with promoting it.

TBH, I’m NOT a fan of just copy/pasting a few pages worth of patch notes for a game, especially when the reason this article exists is to lay down the (meta) effect of it.
