Hard for me to believe in his debating prowess when he goes to the ad hominem of “Your mom’s a whore.” I know it wasn’t an official debate, but a decent debater ought to have an argument about abortion without resorting to whore. Sure, many don’t. But, seriously, a decent debater should be able to.

Every single “nice” thing someone said about him, as quoted in this article, is pretty much textbook damning with faint praise. It’s pretty beautiful to witness.

Actually I think it’s a part of politics. They don’t wear fancy and expensive looking suits so they appear more relatable to the common people. I mean you can’t really say “I know what you’re going through, I’m one of you” when you’ve got a $3000 suit and $400 pair of shoes on.

I hate this attitude that talking about money is vulgar. Yeah, it can be if people are bragging or using it to push other people down. If it’s a frank discussion about what everyone is making and where people stand in a company, than we need to have that talk.
