Wow, this American version is way more interesting than the British version on The Guardian. There, the dates barely rise to this level of criticism of each other. In some ways, it’s probably “nicer” and chalked up as “lack of chemistry” where in the above example, there’s a bit more tawdriness.

Jury explanation here:

It seemed the prosecutors put to narrow a spin on it, hinging the entire case on the disruption of federal employees to do their jobs. That was odd way to go, as it seems there were any number of things they could charge at the occupiers, like “occupying a federal building illegally.”

How about just “illegally occupying federal land”?

Well, it would now.

Yes! I remember that and my husband and I shouting at the TV, “get back in the car!”

I remember when the motorcade stopped, and he and Michelle took a walking victory lap, waving at the car. At the same time, my husband and I were shouting at the TV, “get back in the car!” We were so worried it was going to happen right then.

I thought this was a plea to organize my desk and home or die, which is how I really feel.

Most charter schools don’t have tuition. The only form of payment the parents would be “handing over” would be in the form of property tax.

All the kids were from different high schools:

The kids should be made to watch every movie on the Holocaust ever made as well as news footage from the 60s of African-Americans being targeted with racial violence.

Just because the kids did nothing illegal, doesn’t mean they are not wrong.

His stomach.

Love the subtlety in the British wit, Dominic. Well played, well played.

Can you imagine that those of from other ethnicities wanted to Wonder Bread and PB&J as kids? We all did as a sign of acceptance. The best my mom could do was white bread with apricot jelly. And an apple. Yuck.

Lunch sure has changed. It’s telling when lunchbox manufacturers aren’t accounting for the amount of containers for low-waste lunches many schools prefer. I rarely use plastic baggies for my kids’ lunches, and when it’s field-trip day and we are allowed to, it feels like a kick to the environment.

Thank you. This is something that should be shouted out all the time. You can’t blame Michelle for the state’s roll out and execution.

It’s not. I don’t relate to your blanket statement that people who create shouldn’t put anything “out there” if they don’t want to be scrutinized. That’s a broad assumption and very limiting. Do you know anyone who creates—anything? Furniture makers, musicians, poets, chefs? Everything they do makes the person a

I get it, but to know this person’s “true” identity didn’t really add or subtract from the work. She’s still writing as her, she just changed her name. It’s not like George Sand, but in a way, it absolutely is.

What? So writers shouldn’t write and filmmakers can’t make films and painters shouldn’t be painting if they fear publicity? Do you know any creative people and why they create in the first place? Sure, fame may be part of it, but it’s not the whole of it and if someone wanted to be anonymous, it doesn’t detract from
