... damn it, that makes me curious, which sucks because the last time I remember reading it the art was kind of sketchy.

Is this really a thing in the manga or just some hypothetical figurine? Because I stopped reading about when Gon started... fighting giant ants I think? Either way, this damn thing looks crazy.
I believe you post it anyway with #firstworldproblems
I got all excited, then I saw there was nothing I was interested in, and then I saw none of them are actually on sale right now.
They also all seem to have hair with the ability to suddenly defy gravity. I swear, it's not a Ghibli film without someone staring at something and have their hair suddenly raise up without any explainable force causing it. Doesn't matter the reason, be it surprise, anger, excitement, if it's Ghibli, the hair will…
I bet it taste like shit...
Whoops, by I haven't "seen an anime that has done that" I mean use an English spoken song for a ending theme song, never mind a classic rock song like Roundabout.
Unrelated: Just started watching the first part of the new Jojo Anime, Phantom Blood, and I was in utter shock that they use Yes' Roundabout for the closing theme song. Because clearly the people who lived in those houses died from smoke inhalation when starting a fire inside their chimney-less cabins.
Timely? Perhaps not. Accurate? Certainly, which seems to be a rare commodity when it comes to most references to video games on TV shows or movies, even matters that may take only a few seconds of Googling to get straight. It's sad, but this is noteworthy. Also, damn funny.
I think Syfy made a game show based on this called EXIT. It was pretty entertaining, which is surprising given the usual tripe that Syfy seems to push these days. I don't think it got picked up for a second season.
Some characters even spend full episodes completely without clothes. The nudity in the show is rampant, but rarely sexual, and is often part of a running gag. It is never anatomically correct—no nipples or pubic hair or penises—but there is no denying that by the end, literally everyone and their dog is completely…
