What, no Absol? That's just not right.

As much as I loved Pacific Rim, and I fucking LOVED that movie, the music was probably impressed me the most about it because I did not expect to enjoy it just as much, if not more, than the action scenes in the movie itself. The music heightened the experience brilliantly and was damn catchy, which seems rare for a

I really love the whole clothing/tailoring motif that is going on. Ryuko's sword is half of a pair of scissors, the villain is basically trying to rule the world through the clothes they manufacture at her school, the group trying to stop them(and somewhat trying to help Ryuko in a mutual foe sort of way) utilizes

I thought this was some genuine method to improve your handwriting, which I have some genuine interest in because my handwriting has been shit since I was a kid. I am disappoint.

I'm starting to get the feeling Google is trying to turn itself into Cyberdyne Systems.

She didn't' even bother to take the wrapper off the cupcake.

It's nice to see it's not just us normal schlubs double posting because of Kinja.

As cool as elements of these guns are this seems strange to me. Why have a shell eject right where you have this confusing laser aiming?

Damnit, now I want some buttered toast.

Kind of have to wait for that to come out in other countries or on DVD in Japan for most of us, but yeah, I've been looking forward to The Wind Rises ever since it was announced just because it seems the most similar thematically to Porco Rosso, which is my absolutely favorite Miyazaki film.

I'd say she's more intimidating than the women in the North Korean army.

Fair enough, just kind of confused me is all. Out of context it didn't make much sense compared to the others.

I... I'm not seeing any difference here from the source material except... what? The face is face slightly less terrifying?

Indeed, it's Stanley Tucci as Caesar Flickerman.

Good god, what did they do to Annie's boobs?

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who saw Hank Hill in that picture.

Skyler's eyes are angled wrong and her mouth looks too high on her face for me. Walter I can see, with how wrinkled his forehead is, his popeye-like mouth, and strangely positioned beard, but at a quick glance it's not nearly as inhuman as Skyler's is, which I imagine is because it's from the side. Jesse I think is by

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing myself. Walter and Jesse are fine, but good god Saul and Skyler look like they've been bathing in chemicals. I'm not sure there's much good to be said about that last picture either.

Because of the grapple mechanic I'm reminded more of Bionic Commando than Contra. Still, neither game had the ability to let you mind a flying whale's carcass for building materials.

Yeah, I could never get into the movie. I've seen it several times and it just remains kind of meh every time I see it. It's got a great visual style, but the movie itself just doesn't impress me too much.
