“Good Ward” back in season 1 was a boring, generic action movie guy. Evil Ward is twisted and misguided and that’s what actually makes his character interesting.

I’m amazed, AMAZED anyone thought he could be redeemed after he gunned down Hand and two loyal SHIELD agents.

Nope. Maybe that was personal bias of seeing Winter Soldier before starting AofS, but it didn’t work for me. I thought the last few episodes of season 1 were awful.
