Looking over the transcript, it is, on the defence’s version of the events, an amazing coincidence that he talked about throwing her off the balcony multiple times before the altercation at the end.
I’m saying it’s a nearly three hour long recording of a drunk woman.
Her erratic behaviour has been covered in the NZ media, however she was begging him to let her leave when she was locked on the balcony. She may not have behaved in a “normal” way, but that’s no excuse for trapping her on a balcony (from memory on the ninth floor?) as opposed to kicking her out.
