I even liked her on Talking Smack, the unscripted nature of the show meant that she wasn't relying on cues but when Bryan was pressing her for answers there was a hint of character there.

I'm holding out hope we at LEAST get some sort of backstage segment at Summer Slam where Carmella gets a little of Enzo and Big Cass's rub. I feel like their endorsement would really do wonders for her establishing a presence and character with the casual audience.
The battle royale that kicked off the show was incredibly weak. The star power just wasn't there to tell a compelling story.
I have an almost foolish level of faith in the NXT women's division. So far it hasn't relied on calling in huge names the way the mens division has and I'm exited to see what Sara Del Ray has taught the new class.
Disappointing draft in general, its a shame to see the women's division spread so thin, however I'm excited to see what the NXT girls can do on the main roster.
Harsh. I thought her heel work with Emma on NXT was great and she really nailed the 'being annoying as hell outside the ring' thing. I think she is still pretty raw in the ring but it isn't her fault she was called up too quickly.
I'm so excited for the How Did This Get Made episode that covers this.
Exactly. I'm loving Charlotte and the division needs heels, they can't all just be great wrestlers who everybody loves and cheers for when they hug after their big matches. She's doing some incredible work and I can't wait to see her eventually knocked off by Becky or Sasha.
Season 5 was a mess but it was anything but boring.
I've never been bored during the snatch game before but this one will probably go down in herstory as being the most lackluster in 7 seasons.
What makes you think that Zack was the replacement for Neville? I thought that Sin Cara being drafted into the high flyer spot felt more like the Neville replacement.
I really enjoyed this. The more Lapkus the better in my opinion. Loved seeing Todd in the flesh and Pam from Big Bear.
The wheel must be broken.
I like to think that in order to get Bayley over on the main roster you could bring her up and instantly have her feud with Steph. I mean Steph hand picked the 3 horsewomen and left Bayley at NXT so there is already a bit of beef there. It could be an interesting way to give Bayley a real rub and impactful storyline.
Why are we not all talking about the fact Dillinger has 10 shaved into the back of his head under his ponytail? I know the Divas match was incredible but seriously he has 10 shaved on the back of his head, that should at least be the little image that goes with the article.
Womplerverse mentions: Their old friend with the braided ombre (Listler's Hair) and the first awkward date mentioning a side-by-side (More of an Andy Daly thing but it's bled over to the Womplerverse)
Yeah he was. Shame he's overcome so much to job to Corbin in a 30 second match.
Layla was never a groundbreaking Diva but she was solid during an era when a lot of the girls were sub par. I wish she did a Natalya and had a few matches in NXT to work with the young blood and maybe have a final match to show off that she was more than just a pretty face.
Also Regal is embracing his inner Coronation St. character and I love it.
I can't explain why I like Jordan and Gables out of ring personas so much. But the way Jordan awkwardly stood with his back to Devon and the general tone of the interview was really entertaining. Send them to the UCB for some improv work and get them a little more natural at talking and those two could really be…
