Finally some time to catch up. 140 hours into Zelda and put another 25 hours into Mario Kart. Haven’t even booted up Horizon or Persona after preordering

Well Battlefront sold 14million copies. CoD sold 290 million overall (about 20 million of Infinite Warfare). Abzu sold less than one million copies.

Ohhhh I’m jealous. TotB and Abzu are amazing, but I own them both. I really want to jump into Alienation. I’ve heard it’s a great game to Coop in

Abzu is the perfect PS+ game. It’s short and not as thrilling as CoD or Battlefront, but still an amazing experience. Until Inside, it was my favorite indie experience of last year and I still booted it up just to relax even after beating it.

Whoa! Both PS4 games are really enjoyable. Abzu is up there with Inside as my favorite indie game experiences of last year. Until I got my Switch, I still booted it up at least twice a month just to swim around to relax after beating it. Now I just hunt for treasure on Zelda (130 hours in but I still hunt treasure and

Do people not understand that hacking the Switch could kill not only the Switch but Nintendo as a company? After four consecutive consoles that have been hacked with ease (Wii, WiiU, DS, 3DS), the Switch could very well be the last console Nintendo ever makes.

How do you find out how many hours? I may not want to know the answer, but I can swear that I’m at least 80-90 hours in.

Finally finish Breath of the Wild. I’ve done all shrines and maxed out all weapon/shield slots. Three Divine Beasts down. Don’t want it to end, but I really should finish it.

Yeah I almost bought it after beating it on PS2. Convinced myself to re-buy it on Vita and it was too late. Already back to $30. At least 5 is out next week.

Drawn to Death looks really interesting. I do like when they release games via PS+. Gives people no excuse to play them which can really get a game some leverage (like Rocket League) and also makes sure they don’t release a game people already own. At least in theory, this is a decent month on PS4. Vita and PS3 on the

Multiple solution puzzles are my absolute favorite. My least favorite shrine/puzzle (the puzzle board you had to use motion controls to get a ball into a hole) became my favorite when I realized that I could turn the board over and even hop the ball over walls.

That one got me too. The controls were too twitchy to be terribly accurate so I wasted the two hammers I had in inventory. It was the first dungeon I had to leave and come back to— half to collect more weapons and half from frustration. The rest I just struggled with until I got them— even the awful motion control

Back to the old school. I like it. Nothing in the game so far has required me to write things down, but I have fond memories of mapping out all of Zelda back in the NES/SNES days. I even found some of my old maps in a book of graphing paper I asked for for my birthday.

Got mine launch day and the only accessory I’ve used is a USB-C cable I plugged into my bedside power strip with USB plugs and a sock. Set up the cradle and everything. Played with alternating between TV and handheld for two or three minutes. Walked it into the bedroom and it stayed there except when I play it

Biggest issue I have with 1,2 Switch? They’re just so thematically bland. If these were quirky Wario Ware titles, I think I might actually be excited or at least cautiously optimistic about the game, but as it is, they seem so...bland? Sterile? There just isn’t any personality to the games outside of the quirky ideas.

Yeah I loved FF15 and Im looking forward to Persona 5 on the PS4. Most of the rest of the JRPGs are on other consoles, though. I currently own a Vita, 3DS, PS4, PC, WiiU, and 360. 90% of my JRPG time is split between the 3DS, Vita, and PC, just because thats where the games are.

Thing that excites me the most isn’t VC or even the new Zelda. It’s the resurgence of JRPGs, which have steadily left home consoles, sometimes going mobile, but frequently JRPGs just aren’t coming out.

Pre-ordered at Gamestop but only because they are offering $200 for my WiiU. That and a couple of games will give me enough to buy the Switch and I was going to buy Zelda regardless for the WiiU.

Odds are certainly not in their favor and they have shot themselves in the foot with their messaging, but I’d still wager they sell 30-50million, which would be 2-3 times as many as the WiiU (but half of the original Wii).

LOVE Stick of Truth and love that it’s only 8-10 hours long. It was just the perfect length for what it was. Too many games are 50-100+ hour epics that are amazing bang-for-the-buck (Witcher, every open-world Ubisoft game, etc.), but few games know what they are and just make a perfectly paced game that doesn’t
