I liked the combat the most. The Armor/Health system was interesting. You had to be careful on who took damage. It wasn’t just a “Oh, you got hurt. Heal”. Being reckless and taking damage screwed you over.

Landing 1 bullet is easy. Landing successive bullets is the hard part, for any gun. This is why I dislike the sweet spot mechanic in general. Then you give the Martini the best sweet spot in the game...

I agree with that. If i’m into something I’ll gladly throw myself at the wall and see where I land. Unfortunately, a lot of people think they’re better than they actually are. Yeah, most of the weapons in BF1 were developed late in the war, never fully fielded. A number of them were merely prototypes that never saw combat.
