Yup. Either with an open server, where everyone flies together or private instances where it’s just you and friends.
Which I think is an aspect overlooked in this discussion: the mind set of the developers themselves. As long as there are throngs of developers willing to do the dirty work a union or an article like this won’t do much.
Me too. I personally though that Stormtroopers looked cooler and better with their helmets and always played them as such, but giving people the option was a good thing. Or so I thought.
It’s always nice that companions do something useful. At the end of the day I still choose companions I like over companions I need. I mean, Asahi’s healing will be useful, and Gaston will probably be BAMF, but Isabeau is will always be mai waifu.
So, Fahey. If I were to need someone to try random things I throw together. Say....Tempura Fried Prime Rib. French toast, with well made eggs and french toast, combined with maple bacon. What would you charge?
Daww. Didn’t know Warband was coming to consoles. I saw “Mount & Blade” and was “AMG. BANNERLORD SO SOON?”.
Definitely is, and I’ve been doing it for about 10 years now. I remember having some friends over for some co-op shenanigans. Had everything set up in theory, it kinda worked for a bit, but turned into a rush to fix technical issues that just popped up out of no where. Took about an hour before it all got sorted. My…
I can’t really blame you. Something most people fail to address when they talk about Trials being the greatest RPG in recent memory is this: Trials FC is a mundane RPG. Usually by the first hour you kill something huge, do something big, learn of a cataclysmic event, or the Big Bad destroys your village and murders…
If that’s so, I imagine you talking to Stephen was something like
S: Hey, wanna be a guest editor while we’re away?
Doc: I would LOVE too!
S: Got material and stuff planned out?
Doc: *opens file cabinet full of pre-written articles* I’ve been preparing my whole blogger life for this moment...
Fallout 4 is the example that comes to my mind. I was hoping that once you got away from the initial stuff, it’d open up and maybe become a proper RPG. It never did. Just “Next Dialogue please”, “Asshole response”, “WHERE’S SHAUN”, and “GIMMIE BACK MY SON”. Skill checks were far and few in between, meaning charisma…
We all know the best way to win a woman’s heart, is through a song that explains your feelings. She has headphones? Sing louder. She’s deaf? Furiously hand sign the lyrics as if your playing a wicked air guitar solo. Extra points if you sign the lyrics WHILE playing air guitar. If you mean it, she’ll hear it in her…
I’m still a novice at it, but in general the way to victory is...More cards. Spies and draw effects are king. Don’t worry about winning every round, in fact every match I’ve won, I’ve lost a round. Don’t be afraid to use spies, or low strength fodder to bait the opponent into playing big. There’s been a few times…
My reaction is “It’s back?”, clutch was a thing 10 years ago.
That’d be cool. With Cons and stuff, they kinda have the venue already, but I imagine their booths are typically “This is our game. Look at it”. Definitely be cool to see people hawking merch and other things at the booths as well.
They never did in the first place. The copy of RapeLay was being done by a 3rd party importer.
“My father died for that flag!”
Flashlight army rep! Another thing that goes unsaid, dozens of Warhammer games, and this short does so much world building like never before. It was oppressive and glorious at the same time.
That’s how I feel. I didn’t really care that Major was being played by Scarlet, but was more turned off by Scarlet playing the Major. The world building in GitS was awesome. There’s so much material you could’ve taken it, and adapted it into an American GitS set in America. One of the biggest draws of Sci-Fi is the…
I echo’d a lot of this back during the Alpha. I’m probably bias’d, I play Bloodborne religiously and as aggravating as it was, went through MOST of the Alpha Ni-Oh demo. To me, the Beta fixed SO MANY things and made it a much more enjoyable game to play, especially with the emphasis on offensive tactics rather than…
