I haven’t heard this “complacent” angle anywhere. I actually heard the idea that SHE radicalized HIM.

They were religious nut jobs, good luck finding reason.
Who exactly buys GOOPstuff? Do people with that kind of money actually want to shop there, or do they go to more classic designer stores? Who is this target audience? What’s your bottom line, Paltrow?
I, for one, prefer Hats on Cats' "reality," because - like the author of this piece - I believe that she is willing to be introspective, respectfully curious about others' realities, and nicer than I would be about Goop.
I'm sorry but when you put together a store for the modern woman that only sells 10 thousand dollar items of clothing then you deserve a little light ribbing for being totally out of touch with reality.
eh It’s a pretty good school. I’d call it “elite” among state schools, on par with institutions like UVA, Michigan, UCLA, and Berkeley.
He is like the highest-level exemplar of how American conservatism is no longer an ideology so much as an assortment of weird memes.
He’s not; there’s a reason he’s universally loathed by his colleagues. Even people who subscribe to the same (reprehensible) political philosophy he does can’t stand being in a room with him.
I mean.
I’m always really surprised at how terrifically bad he is at persuading considering that he did debate in college and that shit’s no joke. Although I am acquaintances with someone who went to college with Cruz and said that he only plays dumb for his audience. According to my acquaintance, at least in college, Cruz…
Presumably his persuasion skills are lacking precisely because of his diseased personality and inability to be genuine about anything. I mean yeah, yeah, politicians are all lying, but he is particularly slimy.
Did anyone else listen to his interview on Morning Edition this morning?
I think 19 year olds watch it with their boyfriends to show how cool they are with boobies.
earnest question:
Is there a segment of the American population that doesn’t realizethat nekkid ladiez exist on the Internet? Like, super nekkid?
It’s not even the dolphin’s echolocation sense. It’s what human technology can record and extract from the audio signal without the benefit of dolphin sense organs or brain processes. It’s like showing an oscilloscope reading of a sound wave and saying that that’s what humans hear.
I don’t see how you can possibly conclude that. Despite the click-baity title, we have no reason to believe that these computer-generated images based on the audio signal are accurate representations of the level of detail of sensory perception by the dolphin. Also, dolphins have eyes, and this post isn’t about…
But-this is just what they "see" by echolocation, right? I mean, they have eyes too. Also, I'm pretty impressed by their echolocation images.
Really? Does no one here understand science? This is not what a dolphins eye sees. It’s what its sonar sees. Dolphins use their eyes and sonar to navigate/hunt.
Was almost certainly part of an ad buy with Refinery. In my experience, the brands like them because they feel like it’s an opportunity to engage with their customer in a fairly neutral way—it actually probably generated more positive or at least interesting conversation around their brand than they usually get,…
