Gene: "Okay, don't start a brothel while we're gone. Just kidding, you can." Tina: "And no making a fort out of the couch cushions. Just kidding, you can". Louise: "But don't turn that fort into a brothel. Just kidding, you can." Bob: "Oh my God, just-" Louise: "I mean it's illegal-" Bob: "I know. Just leave".

The A.V. Club
Take that Dick Tracy!

"Yes, Dr, Foster here. Ned Flanders? You're sure? No, no, no, I'll come right over. And may God have mercy on us all. Darling, there's an emergency at the hospital, uh, where are my shoes?" "I think they're in the den." "The Den?! May God have mercy on us all".

"Coach, I need you to be my buffer". "OK, but Nick can never find out about this." "What?" "Hmm?" Coach was on fire this week. I enjoyed his and Jess' constant back and forth bickering. With these last few episodes, I think the writers have finally gotten a solid handle on his character and it's been great to watch.

I have friends who didn't know how to tell time on analog clocks so I could buy Winston not knowing how rulers work.

Class: "Lisa likes Nelson!" Milhouse: "She does not!" Class: "Milhouse likes Lisa!" Janey: "He does not!" Class: "Janey likes Milhouse!" Uter: "She does not!" Class: "Uter likes Milhouse!" Largo: "Nobody likes Milhouse!"

I'm really happy about one of these renewals and totally indifferent to the other one. Seems about right.

"I sleep in a racing car. Do you?" "I sleep in a big bed with my wife". "Oh".

I guess she really CAN'T be tamed.

I'm so stoked for this, especially with Handler on board. I liked those books a lot when I was young, and when I read them again a couple years back, I appreciated them even more. Especially the later books when it gets into stuff like moral ambiguity and how hard it can be to see what the right or wrong thing to do

I really want "Duquan" to be a semi-recurring character like Tran. That tag of him and Coach just hanging out and bonding was gold.

"I once changed a sign that said 'Happy Jewish New Year' to 'Happy Newish Jew Year'. Is that a hate crime?"

What about when Buzz Lightyear was Mrs. Nesbitt? Doesn't Toy Story get diversity points for clearly taking the stance that toy gender is fluid?

"Is everything OK?" "Nothing is okay. Wunch circling me like a shark frenzied by chum. The task force turning into a career-threatening quagmire. An internal affairs investigation casting doubt upon my integrity and you ask is everything okay? I am buffeted by the winds of my foe’s enmity, and cast about the towering

"Quick! To the pacific time zone! It's still Halloween in San Diego!" In an episode full of great moments, that was the line that made me break into hysterics. God, I love this show.

Announcer: "We interrupt this cartoon for a special report" Homer: "(Gasps) Someone found my keys!"

That's one of my favourite Yeardley Smith line deliveries. She's just trying so hard to seem convincing so she can get what she wants and it's great.

"Are they talking about the bordello?"

Great second episode. I'm really enjoying this show so far. So Caitlin's dead fiancée Ronnie is totally going to turn out to be Ronnie Raymond when Firestorm shows up later on, right?

As a kid, I once stumbled upon a large futuristic-looking object in the back room of a church that I was convinced was a time machine, but I got pulled away before I could prove or disprove my idea and never found that object again so part of me will always be convinced that that was a time machine. So I related very
