Yes it is pointless, but at least will show Honda that there is interest for hatchbacks, and maybe they will sell the next hatchback, in America, and Japan. Soichiro Honda once said, "we need to build a Civic for everyone", looks like they turned it into a Civic for everyone who doesn't a hatchback, or a wagon.

This is stupid, too. Lexus should put financial and engineering resources in a new IS wagon and convertible, and an LFA inspired new SC. And more turbo engines, and a dual clutch auto, not a stupid van.
