‘Also everyone we knew at WotC/Hasbro has lost their jobs, so....

has someone checked on jim spanfeller yet? there’s only been 48 guides and not 50. he’s on the floor of his corner office having a panic attack. someone please check on jim, his health is very important to us.

This doesn’t look like a how-to guide for BG3, does Spanfeller know about this?

Agreed on all fronts. I also believe he has a letter of marque from the Dutch, which from his perspective makes him a legitimate pirate, but does NOT mean he has any formal support in this venture beyond that. He also was the pilot, not the captain; I don’t think he was really prepared to be in charge of any

I think the difference here is that the Japanese characters are also mostly trying to figure out how to use HIM to their own gain against the Portuguese. It’s also clear the Japanese are bigoted, as well. Pretty much everyone was, then.

This was a really enjoyable piece - it’s nice to have criticism about a current show that isn’t just an episode or whole-series review, which don’t always feel like the best format for TV writing.

That is a really bad description. Hes not inherently buffoonish or dumb-the original series makes a big point about how intelligent, principled and brave he is-most people dropped into a foreign country with no knowledge at all of the language or customs wouldve done a lot worse.

It depends! But yeah, some old PS2 games etc can go for a long, usually because they didn’t print many.

Just wait until just dropping that names gets his neck deep in horny fish speakers

Mixing up countries in addressing someone is different than using an anachronistic term that denotes gender bias in the first place to someone who is significantly more qualified than the title uttered to speak about the literal hearing she is sitting in where she will be providing her expertise and information.

Stick with me here... The malice isn’t in the intent, but in the ignorance of the assumption.

So, she mentions up front that she was from the Pilot’s Association International.

Are you saying that who she was representing was not on the agenda for the hearing? Are you saying that whoever prepped these questions just saw that it was a woman representing the Pilot’s Association, and automatically assumed that

She says pilot FOUR times. And then he calls her a stewardess which is still not a correct term for flight attendant.

...because the dumpster fire formerly known as twitter is owned by a sociopathic, nazi, drug-addicted, potmark-faced mentally-disabled methhead kkk freak. That’d be a ridiculously easy question even for the $200 square on Jeopardy

Rape is rape. There is no good rape and bad rape. It is all bad. Rape is not a tool of reformation or an instrument of revenge. We are not Tate.

At least Ross isn’t the actual one being prosecuted, so he can be forgiven to some extent for not knowing that talk of leaving the country would get Tate in trouble.  What the hell did Tate think he was doing?

The message to Ross was a friendly one in which they try to coordinate a meeting, and Tate’s not aggressively dickish or misogynistic in it. Maybe that’s what they are worried will ruin his reputation.

I watched the H3 content court episode about Adin Ross and he comes across as the kind of people who doesn’t have real friends, just people he associates with and find useful.

It’s early yet, but I alreadyt say best news of the week.
