I’m surprised people want that. I feel every game now is an open world. I never managed to finish the third game because it was so full of stuff to do. It’s great, but at the same time, it is so overwhelming, I stopped when I reached Novigrad, after playing for 60 hours already, because it felt I did 10% of the game

Think the real magic lies in the amount of time that’s passed combined with how dated the mechanics have become. Dead Space is close to 14 years old, but it’s aged like wine on PC, whereas RE 2&3 were overdue. 4 is a harder call since it’s aged gracefully.

As it stands I’m excited for other people to play through 4

It’s always best to believe the perpetrator over the accuser.

My young elementary age kid and I watched it together and despite her being restless from time to time... she still loved it, and had lots of thought provoking questions about the show (often she was confused by the motives of some characters... ‘why is Cel trying to kill Cassian??’)

  • So we just kind of dropped that thread on Cass’ sister after the first few episodes, huh? Guess that’s a season two thing.

Also gotta love that Brasso got to clock some stormtroopers with Maarva’s Brick! What a send-off. Her actual bodily remains got to punch some fascists.

It’s not even close. This is the best Star Wars TV show of all time.

Honestly, I was about to be thrilled that a scowling villain would get trampled to death by those they had oppressed

MAKO FOR LIFE

I am slowly completing my first Cyberpunk playthrough, and I love almost all the cars and motorcycles in it. The designs are wild and mostly angular, evoking designs of the 80s of course.

Don’t forget the M35 Mako from Mass Effect. Sure, it’s not the fastest thing in the galaxy, but how many can stake their claim on being able to scale mountains at a near absolute 90 degree angle?

Something about those alien fishermen reminded me of 1980s Henson Creature Shop creations, both in their dialogue and their appearance.

Between the dogfight and last week’s monologue (and the rest), Luthen in my mind is already an all-time classic Star Wars character. That Imperial stop-and-search was so insanely tense I thought the whole thing was going to end in a Game of Thrones penultimate shock death, and when he ripped the tractor beam to pieces

Nitpick #2:  Those aren’t the “hard-working fisher aliens” sleeping in Cassian’s old hotel room, they are just random alien guests of the same hotel.  Different species entirely.  And why would Cassian need to tip toe through the room and sneakily retrieve his box if the room was occupied by his friends/liberators?

Nitpick:  Luthen’s “fake credentials” actually do work, the Imperial captain just proceeds with the planned boarding “for practice” and because he’s a dick.

Of course the Mothma scene imparts new information. It tells us that Leida is weirdly embracing her creepy-ass Chandrilian conservative roots and might not actually MIND being packaged off to another guy. Which does little to quell Mon’s anguish over it, since she knows how shitty those arrangements turn out to be.

Now come back to the EU, you c**s!

I’m just happy to see an actor who for once realizes he’s not the character he portrays.  Too many seem to think they are musicians, cowboys, both, or, worse, qualified to hold public office.

He also voted for Buttigieg. He strikes me as a rich guy who hates paying taxes and will vote for whoever doesn’t make him pay taxes without reminding him that they also hate minorities.
