Sounds like the light is diffused so it’ll scatter after being reflected (so bright white but not shiny metallic). So, bright but without any glare.

They’ll fly off the shelves because they’ll likely be great games with great writing, that may release flawed (like most video games these days) but will receive years of after care. Just like TW1-3 and CP77.
I am not a physicist, but I would assume it would not work very well as an undercoat, because the overcoat(s) would still absorb the energy of the light and that would be transferred physically through the white paint.
There isn’t really a “mainline” continuity anymore. The last time a Gundam TV series took place in the UC was in 1993. Since then every series has been an alternate universe, almost all self-contained, with the UC continuity living in on in OVAs and the occasional movie aimed at more hardcore fans.
Just want to reiterate to anyone else reading: This was not a “hey, this had girls love therefore Utena”, this had quite a few plotpoints basically directly lifted from Utena including the “Bride” having her little greenhouse. And the fact that there is a side character nicknamed Chuchu with two large circular…
It’s a TV series so yes, it’s an alternate continuity. UC only ever appears in OVAs and movies nowadays (not counting Reconguista, which was secretly UC and related to Turn A).
Ichiro Okouchi is credited as the series’ writer, so he’s more than just “one of the people.”
Really enjoying it so far - the cast chemistry is great and they’re finding a good balance of adapting the story while making it their own.
People need to leave Whoopi TF alone. She’s one of the bravest women on screen or off. She has managed to live though decades of insane political upheavals, shifts in social trends and some very confusing debates about representation. If even a fraction of the celebrities that we prop up with our attention and dollars…
It’s basically Revolutionary MS Pilot Utena, and that’s alright with me.
I like the series so far based off the first episode and horrifyingly grim prologue. It does give off more build diver vibes being set at a school/Academy (for now) with duels and such, but it is a fresh take on a non UC mainline Gundam title. I’m interested in where this series will go, especially with some throwaway…
You can’t turn a breech baby at this point, nohow. If you’re going to try to do that, you have to do it before it settles down into the pelvis. I have done this, at about the 8 month mark or a little before, and it was difficult and risky, but the mom was determined not to have a C-section, so I agreed to try. It was…
That’s why Daemon murdered that random guy -- that was the body they burned instead of Laenor’s.
Jon Snow’s birth father was a Targaryen and he (Jon) wound up with dark hair. I think the show is just saying: whoops - two bad coin flips = brunette.
It’s the same one. They’ve heavily implied it a bunch
I am very much liking EmmaD’Arcy. She has such a unique look but even better she commands the screen and says so much without saying a word.
It did go pretty fast. I rewound it and watched it again just to be sure. Was a good set-up/pay-off when he pulled back the hood on the boat.
They were in on the plan. Daemon killed the guy to be a stand-in for Laenor.
“This is a canny political move—and very bad news for Laenor. With the princess’ reluctant blessing, Daemon pays Ser Qarl a hefty sum to publicly murder his lover....The two manage to fake Laenor’s death. ”
I am very much liking EmmaD’Arcy. She has such a unique look but even better she commands the screen and says so much without saying a word. And that is why I didn’t mind at all the tension being ratcheted up after burial. The camera glided in between so many of the characters you could feel intrigue just in the…
