Correction: The boss you probably meant to name was *Godrick* the Grafted. There is no Godfrey the Grafted, though there is a Godefroy the Grafted, a miniboss.

He does a great job and the scene is cool in isolation, but I definitely wouldn’t want this in the cut.
I’m of a different mind here. I didn’t think the final act of the movie fit in with the tone and the stakes of what came before it. (Don’t get me wrong, I still really, really liked this film.)
I mean it’s Kimmel, this is the same guy that was scratching his head in confusion over esports. I think if Conan O’Brian had the same interview he’d be much more enthusiastic about the cosplay.
Because, despite what you may hear to the contrary, it still isn’t cool to be a nerd in mainstream America.
Yup, that’s Hollywood for you. It’s frustrating to see Cairo or other places like Morocco still shown as they had been shown in movies 40 years ago as if we still haven’t heard of Orientalism. Same with how filmmakers lazily shoot scenes meant to be in Mexico with the ubiquitous Mexican Filter. There are varying…
sounds more like he criticized all of hollywood and used ww1984 as a recent example.
I mean he’s got a point. This is a picture of Cairo in 1980, even a few years earlier than the movie. It’s a city. Hollywood does have a habit of showing Cairo like it’s perpetually the dig site from Indiana Jones.
FromSoftware sure knows how to make bears, wolves, and birds just as scary as its Lovecraftian horrors
The discordant violin-like world music, the freaky ostriches and big-head dogs, bloody pools, everything looking like it needs a shot of penicillin … Caelid is that region where I limit my time to what I need to do then hightail it out.
What a fantastic design that I never want to encounter again. And I love crows!
Pray for me.
Dude OMG - the Birds!! Those big crow like birds in Caelid. Those things are terrifying - with there big over sized heads and gangly crow bodies. They freak me the hell out. The first time I came across them, I was genuinely creeped. The way they are just perched up on their spindly little tree branches too, just…
I was hoping that it would be a changing QR code that if you scanned it with your phone would tell you the current time and date
Please please please put him on the “No Fly” list so he’ll have to take the bus from Texas to DC like a common armadillo...
Reject tarnished, become bonewheel skeleton.
I’m gonna be honest, that is absolutely wrong. Witcher 1 was...interesting. It was a solid game with lots of problems that did okay enough. Witcher 2 was a great game that was well reviewed and sold something like 10 million copies (ie: no small thing). Witcher 3 was outstanding. Gwent is very good. Thronebreaker is…
Eh, Witcher 2 was pretty well received and a really good game (for the time, it hasn’t aged super-well). And the first Witcher definitely had a cult following. To me, it feels like they were a studio really close to hitting it big and then finally did with Wild Hunt, which almost everyone agrees is an all-time great.…
That doesn’t look like the wolf medallion, and the subtag is “a new saga begins”, so either its a pregeralt prequel featuring a witcher from another school, or a post geralt witcher resurgence featuring a witcher from another school.
I hope they find more than three. I just can’t wait to
