Well, among other things, Herbert disowned his gay rights activist son Bruce, almost certainly over his homosexuality.

The Baron is a blatantly homophobic figure in the book as well, since Frank Herbert was extremely homophobic, himself. They probably won’t reference his sexuality at all in these films.

“Unaltered” in the sense that she is not subject to the genetic degregation that the deliberately modified clones suffer from, which prevents the Kaminoans from cloning them indefinitely. Also, the mutation doesn’t have to be significant; Omega might be intersexed, for all we know.

Around but unaccounted. They didn’t appear in record until the early Third Age. They were implied to have been a great deal smaller and extremely secretive.

Omega is unaltered. Her changed gender is due to a random mutation, like the differences within the Bad Batch.

Sometimes it’s a bounty, a proof that you killed a dangerous critter that was endangering the shopkeeper’s business. Otherwise it could be an exotic curiosity to be sold to the rich and bored, a magical resource to be sold to alchemists, etc. etc.

You don’t have real depth perception but your brain will learn to simulate it at least somewhat from shadows, reflections and such.

While we’ll undoubtedly get to that if the series or its spin-offs go on for long enough, based on what little info we have at this point, I think that the show will start much earlier, in the time the Great Rings were made, and the Númenorians were first starting to establish colonies in Middle-Earth.
