This is what Lemons should be! Low speed, low danger, low cost.

So much hype around the Dodge Demon and yet this Nissan Maxima is clearly a hell of a drag racer.

The reason it is “banned” is because you need a roll cage (not just a bar), window net, NHRA Competition License to go quicker than 9.99, full fire suit, and fire gloves. And it’s only a few MPH away from needing a parachute. (150 mph trap speed makes that a requirement)

I once built an insurmountable project that was a complete rust bucket, when I finally drove it the very first thing I did was a burnout. The clutch exploded less than a week later. Worth it.

Says the guy that clicked on this article to read the latest news on the Demon....

Certain Jalopnik commenters: “Cars are so boring nowadays! I want fun cars!”

This isn’t a Ford, and there aren’t that many trees near drag lanes.

Well this is Dodge so....

You are so fucking salty about this car. Holy shit.

At the last local C&C I saw three Hellcats there. One of which is an extended family member’s who puts plenty of miles onto it as long as the weather is good.

I care. So you’re wrong.

Are the COPO and CobraJet road legal though? Mopar had an answer to those types of cars in the Challenger Drag Pak, which also runs 8s.

Usually it is required upon purchase of a home

“No HOA” was one of the absolutely essential parts of my home search a few years back, both as an auto enthusiast and as a musician.

Why do people join HOAs?

Honest question, I’ve never heard of *any* good reason to be part of one; they just seem like you’re agreeing to give control over what you can and can’t do on your property to the worst bored old-lady busybody stereotypes.

Fake news has infiltrated jalopnik. Can we get rid of this bias contributor?

Stfu. How many veterans were killed during Obama. Or Bush, or godamn George Washington. C’mon. You’ve got to be kidding me with that bullshit...

Because everything has to have a red and blue side, even the death of a Navy SEAL.

Nice to see you don’t let your own political views influence your writing.

Um no, a signal light does not give the driver the right to cut in, drive through or turn into anything.
