I read this book. I thought few books captured how censored and boxed in foreign workers are in North Korea in terms of witnessing everyday life. They try to see life through these tiny cracks; she even talks about the malaise. I think she may have been a lot more accurate than most foreign writers over there— I think

Agreed! I hate the constant stigma of it. People automatically act like you’re on some sort of illicit substance. I failed out of college after 2 years after I coasted through highschool. Finally got diagnosed in my early 20s and sailed right through my bachelors degree with an almost perfect GPA. I went off for a few

I was coming here to say basically all of this. ADHD SISTERS 4 LYFE!!!!

Yeah, agreed that controlled substances shouldn’t taste like candy. That is asking for trouble.

EVERYONE PANIC! They flavor most kid’s meds. Lock up your scripts, problem solved.

There is no cutoff age. Nope, I refuse to accept one. I’m pushing 30, plus size, and just bought two adorable dresses at forever 21 last week for a grand total of $40.

So many of my college friends got credit cards and ended up in a lot of debt before college was done. They were handing them out like candy. I didn't get one because I wasn't sure I could be responsible with it.

“We’re confident this new credit and loyalty program will be a key driver of incremental and top-line sales, as well as further strengthening the relationship with our customers.”

This is just a disaster waiting to happen. Also, why would anyone possibly need to put anything from forever 21 on a credit card? I haven’t shopped there in years but last I remember items were ridiculously cheap (isn’t that the point?) I mean it’s not like you’re buying some investment piece that you plan on wearing

The interest you pay on that shit will be around long after the clothes have dissolved in the washing machine.

are the pictures of the girls being all spazzy and wobbly for anyone else? or did i really have a rage stroke from the earlier news today and my vision is damaged?

In-between Wildlife Refuge standoffs, occasionally there’s good news in my state... :)

Not the first time some old dude got overly excited about a teenage girl’s jugs.

I saw this in a store yesterday. Inexplicably, it's a Kate Spade handbag.

Of course it doesn’t stop the contents of the books from existing in other forms, but tearing up a readable book is a dumb waste I can’t condone. Unless they are Reader’s Digest Condensed Books, because condensed books are already an abomination.

I miss the comments on I Thee Dread, I liked reading all the wedding drama and the "who had the cheapest wedding" faceoffs. I also really miss the cake pictures.

The total cost was my first thought too and I rolled my eyes heavily at it, but I’m also wondering now if they’re actually super savvy people. I’ve seen a lot of coverage of this damn wedding all over the place and I wouldn’t be surprised (and I would be supportive) if they sold photos of it or access to it to cover

the article says it was ten hours

I know I say this on every wedding-related post but you guys I miss I Thee Dread :(

Wow, Sixty five grand really buys a lot of tacky overly ornate bullshit, huh? Guess these kids don’t need to worry about student loans, a down payment on a house or all the usual stuff a twenty-something generally would be concerned about.
