Maybe next time the DNC should run fair primaries and not demand that voters elect Hillary Clinton, who would have been a truly and absolutely horrible president. They, and those people who voted for her in the primaries, are to blame.

Watching Obama's head explode was one of those things you can't believe actually made its way into a big studio movie. Exactly half my theater cheered, with one half stunned.
They say Firth was up for Bacon's role in First Class. Bacon was fine, but Firth would have been epic in the role.
Colin Firth. That man can wear a sweater. *swoon*
But Lena Dunham's still moving to Canada? Right? RIGHT?!
You are probably right, but I can't lie, I don't trust the Post or CNN anymore in their Trump coverage. They may be *right* to hate him, but that doesn't mean that their journalism is trustworthy anymore, any more than I'd trust Fox News re: Obama.
Well, because there's more of them, and that's how democracy works
I excluded Texas because there is significant money and urban populations centers there.
The idea behind the college, and the Senate, is that people in low population geographic regions should not be at the mercy of people in high-population regions, that is correct.
You make a strong argument. And are probably right.
You're stupidity is like pornography. I know it when I see it.
I, like everyone else, think I'm smarter than I really am. I am wrong on that.
How has it failed to protect us from the tyranny of the majority? Again, I know you don't like it (and neither do I, from a different POV), but it did exactly that this election. People in the rust belt voted in their best interests (which I know no one wants to admit, but it's true) and only managed to be…
You are incorrect. The whole purpose of the electoral college (and the Senate, for that matter) was to insure that states couldn't run roughshod over other states just based on population. That's the purpose of both Article II and the 12th Amendment.
What issues to those states in particular do you think were ignored this last election cycle? Indeed, with Sessions such a verbal Trump supporter, I'd argue Alabama at least got more attention than usual.
I don't get this (incredibly recent, FWIW) idea that the electoral college was created to protect slavery. That's factually inaccurate. Article II, Section 1, Clause 3 was designed to prevent any one state from dominating the rest, with slave v. free states not a concern, or at least only the same concern of all…
It was pretty apparent by the context that New York, DC, and California were more metaphorical than literal. To put it more accurately, what appeals to the northeast/DC, Chicago, and the West Coast will take priority over whatever the needs of the remainder of the country would be. That's where the money is, by and…
I could be wrong. My gut just says he's going to pursue the popular course of action on almost every issue. It would be very popular (wisdom aside) to fire millions of federal workers and to get them off the public tit, and instead to put the money into private companies to rebuild infrastructure. It would be very…
One, that isn't a right to redress. Why is a candidate even going to pretend to look out for their interests when that candidate needs to focus on high population centers instead?
Better one Clarence Thomas than nine Judge Judys.
