100% agree. If you do not have $1000 in savings you are probably not going to make it to the point were in life where a 401k will even be beneficial.

401k loans are a terrible idea. The person could end up paying tons of taxes, owe a large lump sum repayment and get hit with insane fees. You really need to stress how risky a 401k loan is.

Expectations for a male returning to work after paternity leave can be very different then a female. Also, there are different challenges a father faces, like bonding issues and depression that are unique to being a father that are not really addressed.
