OMG I just realized why I had a deep down disgust for the spoiler on the BRZ

There is a Subaru badge on the the Scion if you open the hood :)

There is no reason to give weighted scores... an MP4 SHOULD be 10 points higher then the BRZ, it costs 10x the ammount. To me the scoring system seems very well done.
