I believe the idea behind AOC mentioning she has to use CHIP as a child is that if we had a proper health care system that wasn’t for profit and everyone had access to get the care they need CHIP wouldn’t be needed. CHIP does a good thing but it shouldn’t be needed because access to health care should be a basic human

But AOC wasn’t crediting Bernie with CHIP. She was crediting Bernie for advocating for single-payer at a time when CHIP was the only thing that assured that she had insurance.

They are all friends and colleagues. Sanders urged Warren to run in 2016.

AOC’s choice really came down to supporting the political movement that will build a sustainable, equitable future.

People still can’t seem to wrap their minds around the fact that Sanders 2020 garners the most racial and gender diversity both in the composition of his team and his supporters - and it shows.

Except that he was literally arrested during a civil rights protest in Chicago when he was 21.

When AOC runs for President, she’ll have my vote. I will stand with her, to support Sanders for America.

I too knew those guys in college, but doesn’t Bernie have a very long history of activism, protesting, and organizing?

“Is ideology more important than race and gender? Genuinely curious.”

now-deleted tweet from Jane Eisner, the director of academic affairs at the Graduate School of Journalism at Columbia University, who offered the following in response to Ocasio-Cortez and Ilhan Omar’s endorsements of Sanders: “I find it fascinating that women of color overlook female and minority candidates to

You know what I don't like about rich people? That they never think they have enough money. They always want more. Higher salaries, better investments so they can buy bigger houses, more cars and travel to more exotic places and get more instagram likes. Enough already

You realize we’re taking about the general election, here, yeah? Tulsi’s numbers are kind of irrelevant at the moment.

Tulsi is hot garbage, but Hillary is not helping.

It doesn’t really make sense since Tulsi isn’t doing well in polls, and really never was to begin with. Plus, since the Libertarian party did tons better than the Green party did last election, the safe bet for Russians “grooming” would be to push there.

Warren and Bernie are not the same. Not even close. AOC and Bernie are both Democractic Socialists and Warren is not.

Hahaha. Amazing.

Nope. Get it right! Bernie isn’t a Democrat NOW! LOL!

NO, maybe she really agrees with his platform and politics.  Idiotic assumption of a quid pro quo shows your ignorance.

“Holds virtually the same positions...”

Is it really a surprise endorsement considering she backed him in 2016?

That will make it harder for him to win, but I don’t know that it should disqualify him from running. Shit happens. People get sick. Personally, I love Warren , but I won’t fault him for trying and I’ll vote for him if he takes the primary.
