I think this is an incredibly good looking car.

Relatively upscale yet a good $10k-$20k cheaper than the other luxury offerings.

This really should be THE answer. It’s everything people here are recommending, except it’s actually (relatively speaking) reliable.

Some weather tech floor mats, a vacuum and come wipes and I can make our 65,000 mile Dodge look factory fresh.

Actually, would get a small pickup with crew cab and 4wd. And then a nice piggyback camper

Here’s the thing though. Boring but true. It cleans really well. We have three heathen children and my wife doesn’t have the same housekeeping standard that I do about the car. She’s not gross about it, but crumbs and crap everywhere.

Cringe. This might be one of the most challenging (for Jalopnik) WHAT CAR SHOULD YOU BUY? submissions of all time.

That 159 wagon will never not be sexy

It’s almost Q4. Hold out for the Buick Regal TourX.

I love the shot of that volvo lifting off.

Soon crossovers and pickups will be the only 2 vehicle options left. Embrace the suck.

This really cool new Buick wagon that no one else will have:

These do hold the hell out of people and stuff. I borrowed a Durango for wedding duty a few years back and it was a true hero.

If one of the kids is driving age you can get 2 and roll in a convoy.

Because she said she wants something reliable and not too expensive to maintain. The Range Rover doesn’t meet either of those requirements.

All the usual suspect...:

I thought this was why the Japanese luxury brands exist.

Why not a CTS-V wagon or MB wagon with a great warranty?

Nailed It.
