“The plane is an eyesore!” -Some guy who probably owns a Nissan Juke
Went to a bachelor party at vegas race track, i thought the experience was great but in hindsight... yeah... probably not a great bachelor activity if the groom got in a crash.
I can’t see many good solutions. You could ban these sort of things out right (which doesn’t seem like a good solution), or require some sort of stepped thru experience with graduated licenses or similar. That will make the whole experience much more expensive (at least 10X probably more), and thus completely…
Yeah, some people that pay $699.99 for 10 laps aren’t interested in racecraft/driving dynamics or car control. They want to drive fast NOW. I can’t imagine a supercar experience would stay in business if they played it safe and spent 8 of those 10 laps at a follow-the-leader controlled pace.
You’re on crack if you think a 23,000 mile bone stock 6 speed Supra is overpriced at $50,000. I have no idea how this made your list at #2 when you have a $250,000 C3, a rusted Impala for $44k at #5 and an M3 for $150k at #9.
raptor starts at 49k... who would pay 42k for that other than a die hard bowtie fan?
Similar to how the Suburban is now weirdly luxurious as opposed to the more utilitarian family hauler that it used to be.
Is it just me, or is the Ford Expedition way more luxurious than it should be?
It must be broken, it’s only allowing you to build automatic Alfa Romeos.
Are modern Alfas still as horrendously unreliable as they were in the ‘80s? My guess would be that 30+ years of technological improvements and hours of praise from a certain crew of loud Englishmen would’ve done something for their reliability.
FYI I’m pretty sure they launched the online configurator last night as well.
Not a very good lawyer if $25k car is all you can afford. (sorry couldn’t resist)
I think a leather wrapped roll bar is a great idea. Maybe I’m misunderstanding, but I think if it was unwrapped, it would stick out and ruin the interior design of the car. The leather makes less of an eye sore. If it was just there, I feel like the car would have been skewered. It’s like a wood grain dashboard, but 4…
This is how you get shot.
Its the airbags. Most Lincolns of that era had air suspension. When the pump, bags, or any piping fails it collapses and rests on the bump stops. It’s also nauseatingly uncomfortable.
Nope, collapsed airbags. Lincolns are notorious for failed air suspension systems dating back to the Mark VIII
Are you sure it’s not just a broken air suspension? I’ve seen quite a few FoMoCo products with that problem...
I just get more mad that Toyota is going to piss this concept down in production to blandness. The artist render above is probably accurate and that annoys the hell out of me when looking at it side by side with the FT1
