I’m surprised how many commenters who apparently read gawker media posts don’t understand why the deletion of such articles would matter.

Preach the good word (about snow tires)!

It’s funny that you mention this. Obviously the Raptor is more expensive than the RS, especially when you consider that you can get a base RS for just under $40k But a loaded RS gets pretty close to a base Raptor and I too would rather have the Raptor.

You should still be swapping snow tires on an AWD vehicle too. The Golf R comes with summer performance tires standard so they would need to be swapped with snow tires in a region that gets snow.

Correct! I’m born and raised in New Hampshire and I didn’t think snow tires were at all necessary until I was required to equip my car for a class I was taking (winter safe driving at Team O’Neil). It was such an incredible experience being able to drive on snow and not be spinning my tires trying to get up a hill

...and there is no spare tire.

Are snow tires not legally necesary in the parts of the US where it snows? Madness

It is basically like living with a Focus you spent $45,000 on lol. Don’t get me wrong i’m glad Ford built it and I like the ST but at the price there is just no way I personally would get an RS. Way to many good lightly used vehicles in that price range, such as; 335i m sport, IS350 F Sport, ATS 3.6, etc..

...for buyers who want all the attributes of traditional compact sedans but also desire some serious turbo performance...it’s truly the complete package for compact car buyers and enthusiasts alike.

I WANT to believe...

need glasses?

And yet it still looks better than the Mazda face it came from.

A little ironic given your user name though...

Wow. I’d sacrifice 7 seconds for the manual though.

Fairly menacing. Still a distant second to the Iowa and similar ships, IMO. Nothing looks cooler than lots of big cannons.

I don’t know much about boats but that thing looks badass.

It’s because you’re a videographer. ;)

Yikes, really? Maybe it’s because I’m a videographer and I’m constantly dealing with resolutions and framerates and blah blah blah but just the difference between 720p and 1080p is pretty obvious.

I can and it hurts. SD is blurry, jittery, and has a lack of quality to its images. The difference between 1080p and 4K is significant but it depends on the content, TV, brand, etc.
