Exactly. I spotted one e92 being driven cautiously. Otherwise everyone else was in an e30 (non-M3 at that) or a e36. Not to fault his driving but he should be passing them. Most of his passes were on straights.

Step 1. Have a considerably faster car than the rest on the track

Eh, it’s club racing. Saw this happen all the time in Formula Vee’s. Guys try and stretch their tires for a few weekends, some don’t mind going through a couple sets in one weekend. And 75% didn’t care about where they ended up because they just want to have fun.

All due respect — he is very obviously a highly skilled driver and handled the heavy traffic well — but the power differential between his ride and the field looked borderline dangerous. It was easy to pick out some serious lack of experience on the track that may not have been aware of his closing speeds.

It sure seems like his E46 has 60 more horsepower than any other car on the track. It also seems like the field of drivers were more conservative on their tires. This guy was cutting to the inside drive line and doing a lot of late braking compared to the field. Excellent driving by him though, one screw up on

He had so much more motor than everyone else. Two mechanical failures in three laps and he passed everyone like they were going backwards. Give me a break.

It doesn’t say Drive Now Longer

The sport is a stop-gap between now and when they are going to launch the ST at the next refresh.

The new F-150, 4x2, with the SAME engine gets 19 city, 26 highway...

Don’t forget lightning, altitude sickness and movie theater massacre

Living in Denver, thousands of miles from any ocean, is helpful in mitigating these dangers.

Cool for Reno - they actually believe an economic downturn won’t sink them as well.

Have you been to Atlantic City? I wonder how they compare.

Besides its other siting advantages, Reno is well linked by railroad as well as freeway to Tesla’s present factory at the former NUMMI plant in Fremont...

Lake Tahoe.

When is a garage not a garage? I mean, that’s pretty much a museum or a showroom isn’t it. What constitutes a garage, any indoor space that vehicles park in? If I can get my car in my house is my house then a garage? Can you put a garage door on any structure to turn it into a garage? Does that mean any warehouse with

That doesn’t look anything like my garage.

This car may be wildly out of your price range, but I just cannot stop thinking about this car. Also, I hate you for having my dream job.

Before you climb down off the high horse, maybe read about the Apollo program where 3 guys died in a pad test. Different fuck up, but dead none the less. Then read people like Chris Craft, who ran the damn program, who said that we only barely got to the moon and we did it with accepting levels of risk that would

They do a test burn of all the engines a day or two before the actual launch to check all systems are functioning.
