Agreed, though I wish 90s era Fox let Fincher do the script from scratch. A followup to Aliens wasn’t hard but the house that Murdoch built found a way.

Salvation had a good idea of setting the movie during the war with the machines, but the execution was so so so bad.

Would also love to see some of the protoype gameplay that was allegedly developed when they were going to have a motion control option. It was supposedly being tested from the beginning.

There are a couple of games where the nunchuck’s analog clicking could have come in handy, particuarly fps games.

Part of me wishes Nintendo held Perfect Dark, gave it a Gamecube esque boost, and made it a launch title in 2001 for the new system. It would have given MS and Halo a run for their money. Also really really dumb move not to have Mario Sunshine or a 3-D mario game as a launch title.

oh and clickable analog sticks. I’ll give Nintendo a slight pass for not including them on the GC since developers were still getting used to them in gameplay, but it was unacceptable for the Wii era.

It also needed a bigger d-pad (playing MK and 2d games on it was uncomfortable) and select button, but yes a second zl button was needed.

and wii u games. have you seen the 4k texture packs fans have developed? Put this on pc and modern consoles stat!
