Or you know use more clever tricks to hide an older Mark Hamill. Shadows, make-up, wig, clever editing. Granted, much much less time to experiment with that on a TV schedule, but it would be neat. 

Yes but key factor age. She’s a rookie hero in her 20s. He’s an experienced hero in his 40s.

This. Wii had the same issue. I LOVED it when developers made use of the internal speaker. For Goldeneye 2010 calls from Mi6 came through the speaker and it made some moments more fun. 

The wiimote and nunchuck designs would have been better if it incorporated the switch’s buttons and layout (except with a traditional cross d pad on the nunchuck). IE joycons with the dual analog but slightly bigger and the buttons matching the size of the wii mote buttons.

Based on the netflix doc on the making of the movie, it sounds like they were going to make the Sgt. a more action heavy character and then rethought it and made him more of the “guy in the chair” type.
