I understand that. I don’t like the rule in that I think if you gain a clear advantage from being offside then your teammate attacking the goal and bringing a defender should not be “enough” if you end up scoring the goal. I think the referee should have the ability to rule an advantage was obtained.
I realize it’s onside the way the rule is written, but it should have been offside on the second goal.
