Are you referring to trading card games? IMHO those need to change their business models too, to one where you know what you’re buying. Just like with digital, there’s absolutely no reason vendors can’t print any card they want. It’s just paper.

“It’s not just a one time purchase. It never is.”

No,

And it needs to keep going back to court until the argument is made properly and reason is seen. You don’t own video games you buy, what you pay for is the right to play it, that’s all. The cards though, are yours, you could build a ship out of pokemon cards, and sell it. Sure you don’t own the IP, and can’t make/sell

This. I’m so tired of gamers making excuses for these things because “it’s JUST COSMETIC!!” Loot boxes are a way to put more bullshit between you and the thing you want. When it’s cosmetic it’s just easier to trick you into doing it in the first place and even less work on their part because they just had to make a

Right? Random in real life objects is finite, it runs out, like packs of cards or something. But digital has absolutely no reason for randomness, none at all, other than the single objective of getting more money out of players. “Rarity” is an illusion with digital content. That’s just so disgusting.

While this isn’t news or anything, thank you. It’s important this keeps being said by voices that can be heard.

The ONLY microtransactions that should exist are cosmetic, non-loot box ones (as in you know exactly what you are getting). At least in any multiplayer game.

As a guy who lives in Minneapolis, this song is clearly about me. :)

If memory serves, it was something like 100 mil for the first global event for SuMo, and players only caught 16 mil. A lot of these Pokemon games are probably not going to be opened until December, though, so even getting 5.whatever million is worth something because that’s probably us adults who buy Pokemon games on

All of them? Only the first one. After which they were like, “Oops, we over estimated for our first one, we’ll be better going forward.” And they were way easier ever since; none of them failed. If anything they are simply using the same mission goals, come what may.

PSA: Errbody git your booties into the battle agency, it’s hard as nuts when everyone you can pair with is still rank 0!

I think the S/M mission was the same amount and only did like 2mil out of the goal. My memory is hazy, so that might be off, but if not then US/UM did a lot better. Personally, the game just feels better. There aren’t a lot of differences early on, but what changes there are makes the game just feel better. The Totem

Anyone surprised? I’m willing to bet that sales were a lot lower for this then for S/M. I know I’m holding off on a purchase for now. Add that to the fact that missions still have ridiculously high goals and it’s stupidly complicated to register both for the mission and your progress towards the mission and these

Wow, refreshing to see someone recognize fifteen minutes of fame and decide not to push it. Bravo.

So it’s the upside down? ;)

Why do the Squids in the video instantly turn white?

BTW Patricia, I just learned there’s a whole new side quest about creepy events at the school, including the drifloon/hyno girl :)

Something left on the cutting room floor was that, perhaps by getting rid of Pikachu, they could choose a Pokemon that wouldn't convey the idea the games are just for kids. Hell, we know that the players are all getting older. Some hardcore fans play for the depth and all. It does seem like they're slowly giving in to
