@Ryan Smith: Sadly I disagree. Google is increasing your TAX BILL because if it doesn't pay it's TAX the government won't think people think TAXES are too high and reduce them because they already have them at the lowest they can possibly retain. So if they don't pay their bill you TAX BILL will be higher.

@negitoro: But it does. Google should be helping the taxpayer with it's profits everyone would benefit if Google paid it's taxes properly because tax increases wouldn't have to be so high.

@hostile-17: They do. I read ages ago that they credit their who European tax base to Ireland where they pay very little tax and so in Britain they pay nothing.

@lewishnl: Its not that I think this is a bad idea, I think its a brilliant idea and me for one will be enabled to create much better apps, but it will need to be more thoroughly controlled on app entries.

@sid9221: But thats the problem. Numbers don't matter. I suggest they take all crap app entries and add them to the total number while relegating them to a section for crap apps.

Google, please just do one thing. Launch a market split. Create a rejected dodgy app section hidden under the menus and to put the apps in there, remove them from the main store. Make the store rigorously controlled and users can chose if they want freedom (all apps). Anyway they could always download the .apk. While

@Blockhead Mark: So true. Bands should get better deals. In reality record companies should be junked and the technology industry should try to make it more possible and affordable for bands to work without them.
