I think the author just puts a sepia tint on every photo for some reason.

Auto-brightness works perfectly about 95% of the time for me.  That 5% of the time that has weird lighting conditions, I just manually adjust it with two swipes.  It seems odd to me that anyone struggles with this excellent feature on modern phones.

I do this as well. I don’t know what the issue is.

My e90 and e53 both did that and I really liked it when parking against a curb. It sucked for any other situation. I could turn it off by switching my mirror adjuster selector to the right (passenger side). I believe it’s the same for all BMW’s with that feature.

I would love that feature! Makes sense to avoid curbs when parallel parking, but in suburbia I suppose you wouldn’t need it.

This was my thought too. I have to pull my phone out to open the car and most likely wait a few seconds, but I can just pull the handle without having to pull like I have been for the past 8 years? How is this concept suppose to be easier?

The NFC standard used by Apple’s CarKey really only works within about two inches from phone to receiver — drivers would actually have to tap their phone to their car, rather than just walking up to the door with a proximity key in their pocket.

I agree, but part of the reason we all like Keanu is that I think if he randomly stumbled on this thread (unlikely, yeah, but...) he would totally be happy that some stranger hoped he was living his best life and it would brighten his day.

Also, like, does he not ever get up in those 16 hours? Take some trash with you when you go to pee or get more food or whatever. I wouldn’t be surprised if he has a fridge near his setup, so why not a trash can?
