Awesome. Still the best adaptation of this story, mainly because Michael Caine plays it completely straight, and watching him act like he’s in a seriously theatrical production of A Christmas Carol while surrounded by felt puppets is a treat.

Good for them, but the UAW, really? Are there no other decent unions to get in there? I guess gold watches and consent decrease don’t bother them.

It’s always people who don’t really understand blockchain technology that are quickest to accuse others of “not getting it.” The more you “get it,” the more useless you realize it is. Things like smart contracts seem useful, but aren’t actually better than dumb contracts.

I’m honestly genuinely surprised the cops released the dashcam footage, instead of just saying it was broken or they forgot to turn the dashcam on that day.

Police: “May we search your car?”

Lol, what is bitcoin for then?  Lots of words to give no examples of any plausible use cases for any of this stuff.

Blockhead likes blockchain.  News at 11.

You are addressing the author? So you ignore the inherent disadvantages of blockchain? It’s slow. It’s excruciatingly difficult to edit if a correction or transaction deletion is needed.

Blockchain is a solution in search of a problem. Always has, always will be.

Unfortunately, with the hold police have over society after 200 years, it probably wouldn't do any good. 99% of them just resign before the investigation is finished, and the thin blue line ends it there. Only the very very few worst ones would end up on that list. Hope to change, but the realist in me says no way.

I will personally come after you if you adulterate that GT500 for the sole reason of souping up a Panther.

Black and Brown people across the country:

It’s crazy how much larger they are than what we consider normal aircraft these days. The walls don’t feel curved at all, and the ten across seating is something to behold. I’ve flown on many, but I’ve never been upstairs in the hump.

I drove one for years. No one notices you, they just think it’s a Crown Vic.

Strokes for folks and all that, but you haven’t engaged in leisure activities for the last 3 years because you spent roughly 6 months of that time commuting. Remember your kids aren’t going to be kids forever. Not to mention the fact that they might miss their parent.

That’s the part that I have some moral trouble with sometimes. I do believe that there are some legitimately good people that take that step and are subjected to harassment by coworkers and risking their career. I think there’s a lot more that aren’t willing to risk their livelihood, which I kinda understand. For

Anyone who speaks up is subjected to even worse treatment than a civilian would receive. You have to be a bad one to survive.

The confusing part of it is that he’s in Louisiana. At least when you hear about people with 160 mile commutes in California or the Northeast, it’s because they literally can’t afford to live closer to work.

There are NO good cops.

We need a zero tolerance policy.
