Based on the ridiculous push back on single payer health care we might have a hard time pushing forward no matter what we pay. That being said, it is disingenuous of Michael Moore to pretend that that is a factor. Of course, he has a history of being disingenuous.

On Thursday someone doucher posted "Kylo Ren kills Han Solo" in a comments section about Lebron flying into that golfer's wife chasing a rebound. Ridiculous.

That sounds really interesting, what is the name of the book?

I liked how he brought up that Europe gets a security subsidy towards its military by relying on the American military for its security. Colbert still has it.

My son was 9 months old when I took him to his first ComicCon and we dressed up as Calvin and Hobbes. I'll cosplay the shit out of that no matter how old I get.

I reread the series last year, they're still good. In fact, it's really interesting reading the early ones both as an adult and with knowledge of what the series would turn into.

Based on the rest of their schedule Arizona would basically need to be kidnapped and executed by ISIS to not win the division. But Seattle has a decent shot at making a wild card run. After this week's game against Minnesota they play three simmering dumpster fires in a row (Cleveland, Baltimore and St Louis) and

The way the Colts are playing Houston might not just sneak in, they might pull off the division.

I would never have thought that Gronk knew any Spanish beyond "Tequila", "another shot", "threeway" and "donkey show." I imagine Gronk parties to be very fun.

I think Jimmy has another two years on his contract, but I'm not sure what part of it is guaranteed so the threat of getting cut is always there. That being said, the Seahawks were just getting used to the idea that they could use Graham for quick intermediate passes rather than blocking or whatever the fuck else they

They have it in the Seattle area as well, we will be making our ride later this month.

I lol'd good at this.

Also have that to read, did you like the book? I've heard it called a disappointment.

Reading El Narco: Inside Mexico's Criminal Insurgency by Ioan Grillo. A history of drug trafficking over the border and the war between the DEA and the drug cartels. Only about 75 pages in it so far but it's pretty gripping, despite the fact that the author keeps calling cocaine "yayo" and "blow." It makes me think

Fair enough. However, he's moved from slight overlap to full on Marvel comics universe- complete with retcons, mustache twirling bad guys and non-stop crossovers (in my opinion at least).

Black Swan Green is the only Mitchell book I haven't read, the fact that it seems so low-key compared to the rest of his work makes it very enticing.

Moby Dick has become something of my own personal white whale: a book that I've been meaning to read for years, and opened up a half dozen times but never gotten past page 15 (despite enjoying what I read). In the interest of trying to cross at least one item off of my bucket list for the year I will be dedicating

I always liked the account from Little Big Man, where Custer is racist and arrogant and ridiculous but also kind of awesome.

So, so good. Maybe his best, hard to say.

I am also a huge David Mitchell fan, and I also did not particularly care for the Bone Clocks. I would say that the Slade House is worth reading if only because it is so short and still has occasional Mitchell goodness, but it skips the best parts of the Bone Clocks (interesting unrelated tangents such as the parts
