You need to look at my yearly calendar, I hunt bears with my bare hands (I really like puns, and killing animals without a weapon). And that is only the third most dangerous thing I will do this year. The first is, of course, upset Alec Baldwin.

I think the key phrase there is "a reasonable speed." If the bicyclist is slowing down an entire lane of traffic I would not call that a reasonable speed.

If a huge percentage of car on bike accidents are caused by bicyclists riding in the middle of the lane, I think that means that riding in the middle of the lane is not the best practice for safety.

The Netherlands has some good drivers, but that's certainly not true for all of Europe. Italian drivers are crazy.

There's a difference between a "California stop" and a "Biker stop." A California Stop is when the vehicle slows down, but does not completely stop, as the driver looks both ways to see if the lane is clear. A Biker Stop is where the bicyclist continues his or her speed while completely disregarding any traffic in the

I like how the Star Wars movies (or at least the main saga, not the spin-offs that we'll start getting every year) all follow the Skywalker family. It has this big, operatic feel to watch the build-up, destruction and redemption of this one family. Kind of like the Corleones.. in space!

Darth Maul being revealed by the opening doors and then his lightsaber pops out on both sides = iconic.

I may be reading too much into this, but some of these answers (particularly Laura's) remind me of how, when asked the greatest intellectual jumps in all time, an economist will bring out some economic theory, a philosopher will bring out a specific philosophic ideal, etc. People who work in a specific field always

He may have campaigned on it, but he never made it a central tenant of his campaign that he had to work towards immediately. He campaigned on changing the system that allowed the financial collapse, and much more prominently, but he was still willing to ignore that.

I may be Monday morning quarterbacking, but I don't think it's anything that would have been totally inconceivable back in '09.

Nolan's Batfilms are about as fun as Lee's Hulk movie, but I don't see a lot of comic fans complaining about them.

I am a comic-book reader/superhero fanatic, but even moreso I'm a good movie fanatic. That is why I, by a very wide margin, prefer Ang Lee's Hulk to the Marvel Studios Hulk movie that came out five years later.

Obama may ultimately be a pragmatist, but ultimately he's kind of a crappy one. If he was really, really wanting to be pragmatic, he'd have looked at the national mood in 2009, seen that health care reform would have been (at best) controversial. Then he could have looked a little to the left, seen how welcoming the

Bendis' Daredevil and Ultimate Spider-man.

Actually, DC in fact IS at fault. Very perceptive of you to notice.

Grant Morrison.

I'd like it but this already has three upvotes and you were very specific in looking for only three cheers.

While there are some gems scattered throughout DC's line (Wonder Woman), the vast majority all seem to come in the same flavor: 90's style grim-n-gritty drawn like David Finch. If you like that type of comic than you're in for a treat because you have a whole publisher putting it out, but it just doesn't offer much

You should jump into the Image Comics pool, it's all gold.

If you look at DC's current sales figures they are back at what they were pre-New 52, which would indicate that while they might have been successful on getting new readers they were unsuccessful on keeping said readers.
