The thing with Roman Emperor's was that most of our history of them is given by the people that took power after them who slandered them in any way possible. Even Justin II above is probably a victim of this.

It depends on the ruler and family really. Surprisingly the family most known for that isn't on this list anywhere with the Hapsburgs. In the end most the Royal Families left today are closely related still but they handle marriages a bit better now.
