The problems come into country sizes. The only country that could reasonably compare itself to the US is Russia and even it's mostly uninhabited. It's easy for a country that's the size of a single US state to create the infrastructure needed.

Actually just asked my friend who recently left Blizzard. They do give insurance but it's just really terrible. That and how terrible the pay is besides the Leads.

Things in that entire region were a bit more complicated than they were with Hitler and Germany. I think in the long run it probably worked out better than if we did destroy Japan letting China and Russia do whatever they wanted in the region.

It's always so weird hearing dubs when you still remember how they sounded in Japanese. Too bad animes like this, Psycho Pass, Shinseki Yori, and Shingeki no Kyojin would probably never air on Adult Swim since they're either not shounen or your typical shounen and that's the only time I really bother watching dubbed…

The effects of terrain on historical warfare were always pretty nice to read. How the mongol Hordes, for example, had difficulties as they traveled westward once they started getting out of the plains of eastern Europe.

Probably doesn't help that so much of Japan is mountains and hills as well.
