Personally I think most people are stupid. Even our founding fathers felt that way considering that's why our Democracy is setup the way it is.
The problems come into country sizes. The only country that could reasonably compare itself to the US is Russia and even it's mostly uninhabited. It's easy for a country that's the size of a single US state to create the infrastructure needed.
So uh maybe they should get some smoke detectors.

Actually just asked my friend who recently left Blizzard. They do give insurance but it's just really terrible. That and how terrible the pay is besides the Leads.
