I'd imagine by the time we are able to actually get to any planet though we'd possibly have the ability to modify ourselves to be more capable of surviving on whatever planet we head for.

It's always amazing how it seems every other animal can detect when somethings about to happen yet. Tsunami coming? Every animal heads for higher ground before any human warning comes out. Tornado? Every animal gets the hell out of the way. I really wonder what caused humans to lose that instinct.
