I've found that a lot of people feel the need to announce what they are or expect some kind of special treatment/attention.
The ending was kinda meh but Psycho Pass, Shinsekai Yori and Zetsuen no Tempest at least made up for the very lackluster Winter anime season.

Sounds like it'd then have a lot more fantasy elements than the current one already does since that was when magic and dragons were at full power. Be pretty interesting to see.

A better comparison would be like saying (for this examples sake) that the guy in Gears of War looks like the guy in Mass Effect. Your example would only work if Blizzard was behind DOTA 2 and not Valve.

When I saw commercials for the game before it was out I couldn't help but always think to myself 'that game looks like it was made in the 90's'. Needless to say I'm not surprised it was bad.
