It was the embodiment of the musical energy being released back into the universe and it “catching up” for the lost time and correcting the timeline. The Doctor says something along those lines before it starts if memory serves. It was also showing that Harbinger is still around, which is pretty important.

So, one detail that jumped out at me: when Ruby transformed into “Butterfly Ruby”, her whole attitude switch to a sort of “Haughty Fae Queen”, including having a title of where she was from.  I would not be surprised if this turned out to be a major clue of Where Ruby Really Comes From.

I realize you’re a troll because you had the same toxic “cancer is karma” take regarding Olivia Munn’s recent health disclosure. Congratulations, it was so fucking stupid and cruel that I remembered you.

I’d read somewhere that the rumors were that she’d had a hysterectomy, and now the cancer diagnosis. It hits close to home for me. My wife had one earlier this year. No cancer was found, thankfully, but we’re not done — she’s due for a mastectomy later this year as well. All preventative.
