As Platypus pointed out it’s yet another dogwhistle. It’s also commonly combined with the 88 dogwhistle. I’m not gonna say the whole fourteen words because fuck that but paraphrased 1488 means “I will protect the white race. Heil Hitler.”

It’s not from WW2, it’s a modern day Nazi/skinhead usage. What you’re ignorant of isn’t history but current sociology. You don't need to be a racist to be aware of what the N word means, either.

It was more than just that. “Infestation 88" is 14 characters, infetstation is a common holocaust trope, and their discord is rife with actual nazis

There’s definitely a good chance they DID know.

...realizing Persona 5 is already six years old...

Just say you don’t give a fuck about LGBTQIA folks rather than sucking Chick-fil-A’s corporate cock. They’re never going to love you back.

Hoping they include this stuff in the North American home release. I'd like a physical copy, please.

It’s kind of amazing that they made what could have been a one joke concept (vampire housemates living in Staten Island) and made it last six seasons. As funny as the main trio are, I think it was Colin Robinson and Guillermo who really helped the show become something special. I hope season 6 sees the return of the

This man could monologe like no other. Holy shit was he good at taking any dialogue and making it the most noir hard boiled stuff.  Also could nail comedy, so many amusing lines in Max Payne 1 like Niagara cause you cry a lot to the your in a video game scene.  Max Payne 2 is for me the best one but he was fantastic

I’ve never touched a Max Payne game (to my detriment), but it’s so lovely to see his colleagues come out and say such things about him. I’m sure he knew he made an impact on the medium, being such an outstanding and important series. Not to mention his other accomplishments. RIP sir, reckon you’ve earned it.

One of my personal watershed moments for this was frozen meat pies. They used to be pretty good, but they required like 45 minutes in the oven.

Another good example, my wife worked on a show called Final Space. 3 seasons. The first 2 got released on blu ray, the 3rd never did. It just got took down from Netflix this week, so her work is just gone, almost as if it never happened to begin with. Lost media. The show isn’t even that old.

You are not. I think that this new trend is really gross and it’s a definite lowering of the bar for the privacy of known artists. I mean, maybe if foul play were suspected or something, but this is just too much. Unless the family wanted it released for some reason, then these kinds of details are just none of our

THE INNER DIALOGUE IS WHAT MAKES MURDERBOT MURDERBOT

But it wasn’t available on any streaming services so we’d have to rent it, even though Roku and other websites said otherwise.

Yeah, but in this case it’s not about making it healthier but rather cheaper. With all their changes, I wonder if it even changes the caloric content in any capacity?

I’m not a fan of casting Alexander Skarsgård as Murderbot. He would fit playing a character in Sanctuary Moon instead. Nothing against him, but Murderbot is so non-gendered and Skarsgård is like this hunky viking vampire.

Also I wonder how they will take all the internal monologue and thinking in code into the screen.

I’m not sure how I feel about this new production of Rent...

Murderbot is one of my favorite series of the last decade, but I’m skeptical about its translation to screen - so much of it relies on SecUnit’s internal narration.

There’s currently no cure for racism, and “being a piece of shit” is not a medical condition.
