I agree that no one should take this seriously
I like that the anti-tipping crowd is growing in the comments.
oh blah, blah, blah. If I had a nickel for every time someone said to me “well you’ve just never had a good one, try this” only to have it taste as shitty as any other whisky, I’d...
I would probably tip 20% or not have it, but I wouldn’t blame someone for only tipping $10-$20 in this situation. That’s still a lot of money to make for simply pouring one shot. If the dinner is $150, that’s a $30 tip, so a $50 all-in-all is fine, especially if it’s a cash tip.
This blogger always calls men who ask questions as “pumpkin” “sweetie” “honey.” So anything they say has to be taken with salt. They must have been a bartender in a major city, because 90% of what they respond with is batshit crazy.
On the other hand, we really do need to kill tipping culture. It IS ridiculous that server A makes $2 bucks for pouring a $10 shot while server B makes $50 doing the exact same work pouring a $250 shot.
Since the whole point of spending $250 on a shot of scotch is telling people that you spent $250 on a shot of scotch, go ahead and treat yourself and truthfully tell people that you spent $300 on a shot of scotch.
It’d be nice to link the catalogue so we can see it:

I think it should have ended before Chimera Any Arc... IMO that arc is horrible.
Everything else aside - the use and integration of “Blue Monday” into this trailer was phenomenal. Sound effects for breakbeats, symphonic adaptation - all spot on. Slays the tired ‘ominous, brooding version of a pop hit’ music, hopefully.
“If this person is trying to claim that Nintendo stole the idea from them…”
“Dear Salty, why does human nature exist and why doesn’t it consistently cater to my insecurities?”
Not sure where the OP is going, but I don’t think anyone is objecting to the scene because it portrays a woman having a sexual side. No one is mad because they expected Scruggs to be “sexless” and she was portrayed as being a person interested in sex. They are objecting because the specific sexual transaction at…
I don’t think the criticism is of Olivia Wilde’s “character,” which is a portrayal of an actual person and is broadly based on things she actually did in her life, but of the filmmaker’s decision to fabricate a storyline whereby the character has sex (or offers to have sex) with a source for information. If Scruggs…
This, as the kids say, ain’t it.
Bill Withers too.
One would think a guy named Stephen wouldn’t throw those barbs.
Holy shit, that’s like the worst game of fuck, marry, kill ever.
