I’ve have several friends move out of California due to the expense (One friend had to relocate from San Francisco to Maryland because of Trump’s tariff war affecting their job). Some have moved to Texas while other moved to Arizona because of the cheaper housing.

If this was about a revolution, Bernie would have stayed in the Democratic party after the 2016 election and molded it the way he preferred. He certainly had the support. Instead, he turned his back on his followers and took his independent ball back home.

He could’ve stayed in the party after 2016, built it up in his image. He certainly had the pull by then. But instead, he took his toys and went back home.

Trump and his horror show over the past two years is what pushed the Democratic party to the left, not Bernie. I highly doubt any of Bernie’s true supporters consider themselves actual Democrats anyway. All they’ve done is bitch and moan about anything to do with the party since he lost.
