OK, guys? Could we take about 10 steps back and think logically for a minute?
OK, guys? Could we take about 10 steps back and think logically for a minute?
Back when Shiloh was 4, a friend of mine was staying in the same hotel as them. He was in the pool with his 4 year old daughter and Shiloh started playing with her. My friend didn’t know the Jolie/Pitt family was there and didn’t know who Shiloh was. He kept looking around for her parents (er, “his” parents because my…
And I’m saying that, not necessarily in this case, if someone agrees to marry you to stop you from being deported, they could be a very, very close platonic friend.
Fair enough, I just take issue with that particular argument, that somehow he can’t be suffering from bereavement just because their marriage was done to prevent deportation. I’m not saying this is him, but if I were single and my very good platonic friend needed help like that, I might do it. And then if she died, I…
Right. Even if it was just a marriage so she could get citizenship, that doesn’t mean he can’t care about her as a close friend or something. In fact, that’s generally something either only a very close friend or a very sketchy person would do. Whichever he turns out to be will reveal what this case is actually about.
tawxinz.
Uh, he’s super anti vaccines (to the point of being way more vocal than Jenny ever was) and claims it’s because of what he saw happen to her son. And both say he still has contact with the kid.
Anti-vaxxers are morons but you can’t sue someone for being ignorant.
In a personal injury lawsuit of this sort, you don’t need to prove that the defendant made the deceased commit suicide. You need to prove that it was reasonably foreseeable that the deceased would commit suicide as a result of the defendant’s action or inaction. But there aren’t clear-cut rules regarding civil…
24 hours doesn’t seem like an alarmingly long time to stay inside. My neighbors would be calling the police on me during every Law & Order marathon
Well at least he didn’t illegally procure her some vaccinations. She could have gotten autism!
Go ahead and sue him for his despicable anti-vax campaign while you’re at it. I don’t much care about the pill situation, but the perpetuation of the anti-vax propaganda is indefensible.
*whispers*
i am a known tay stan so my takes shan’t be considered hot, but taylor has been giving away MILLIONS for years. this isn’t new for her at all. like 100% rn her brand is on the thinnest ice it’s ever been on, but donating like this is 0% out of the ordinary for her.
Love her music, Love Taylor Swift and I don’t understand all the Jezebel hatred for her. Plus, Mr. Yipee has agreed that if I ever meet her and she’s agreeable, we can make sweet, sweet love together. So there.
Honestly I had no idea she did it either. Like I said, my friend’s son had cancer and was in and out of Hasbro for about two years (he’s in remission-yay!). She would hear stories about her stopping in unannounced, and then one day she was there when she came in. Just with her mom and another person. She spent a few…
She has always donated to charity. This is not new.
*Shrug* I’m pretty okay with people doing good deeds for basically any reason.
I live near RI (not far from her home here) and she donates money and visits the hospitals (Hasbro especially) a lot, and has been for years. It’s never publicized. The only reason I know about it is because a friend’s son was in and out of hasbro for a few years and would see her occasionally.
She’s always been really generous with charities though. Maybe they’re publicizing it more now for that reason, but it’s not new.
