I don’t know how I feel about all of these people who gave him the benefit of the doubt and are now so disappointed in how this presidency is turning out. Like, we tried to tell you? Y’all ever going to acknowledge you chose not to listen? When do I get to say I told you so?!

You’re not being a square — you have an appropriate response. She’s a criminal. It might seem cute because she’s old and big deal, how much can an 86 year old woman steal, but this lady has been doing it her whole life, including back when it wasn’t cute. I love Jezebel, but damn, they know how to pick em sometimes.

Not to be a profound square but this woman is a thief, is likely a kleptomaniac and should probably be in jail or treatment or both.

You, my friend are clearly doing the parenting-thing in the best possible way. You are giving your children things to groan and roll their eyes over then remember fondly when they are grown (which is important because if they didn’t have little things like this they would find bigger issues and end up dropping out of

Footage of this guy is the best ISIS recruiting video ever.

It literally reads like something from Idiocracy

And then he dabbed.

It’s kind of an easy answer, but The Antlers’ Hospice is a wonderful meditation on grief and loss if you haven’t heard it. Bowie’s Blackstar, as suggested in another comment, is also fantastic. And Sufjan Stevens’ Carrie & Lowell is an album where he processes the loss of his parents, it’s quite beautiful and moving.

I really liked her up to the point where she bragged about rubbing her ass on a sacred site in Hawaii. Such an asshole move (literally and figuratively), really put me off her.

Here you go.

While millions of refugee children/children of immigrants/etc. get ripped away from their parents and/or denied access to a country and healthcare that could *actually* help them. Fuck everything.

Aaron Carter claims he isn’t an addict, and that he doesn’t even drink alcohol.

Team JLaw...until the sacred Hawaiian mountain story. That just made her come off like an inconsiderate, entitled prick.

Thank you for mentioning the jlaw stuff, I used to adore her, until her PR team decided to cast her as the adorable dork who throws up, trips on red carpets and sharts on herself. I find this all a little too contrived and ridiculous. I hate these stupid jlaw stories and it’s really made her damn near annoying.

same woman, but she won this essay contest. it is as excellent as her music:

The Dum Dum Girls’ Only in Dreams is mostly about the lead singer’s mom’s death. It’s pretty upbeat all the way through, so it can be a surprise to really listen to the lyrics: “Death is on the telephone/I lie and say she isn’t home/ If only he would make a move/ Instead he sleeps in her bed” has always got to me as

“Healing After Loss: Daily Meditations for Working Through Grief” by Martha Whitmore Hickman.

I would say Blackstar by David Bowie fits the bill, he wrote it knowing he was passing away from Cancer. But its a truly beautiful and introspective album; he didn’t write it in sadness, more in celebration of the amazing life he was blessed to live.

When Breath Becomes Air by Paul Kalanithi is amazing. I told myself I wasn’t going to cry and I cried like a little baby... in a good way. It’s not so much a “how to get over grief” book as a “meditation on death and life” book, from which you may draw your own conclusions. Kalanithi’s relentless positivity in the

Ugh. No wonder people have unrealistic expectations of love and togetherness. Other guys never even had a shot with you because you had an odd obsession solely because you refused to mature emotionally. On the other hand, he fucked his way through a few towns, then when he got bored knew he always had a backup plan
